Let’s get started with your new FIT notebook<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

You need the Bitlocker PIN, your Fraunhofer-Smartcard and Smartcard PIN and your account data (username and password).<\/p>\n\n\n

Step 1<\/div>

Step 1: Insert your smartcard into the reader on the left side of your notebook with the chip facing up<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

Step 2<\/div>

Step 2: The first thing you see after powering up you notebook. Enter the bitlocker PIN.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

Step 3<\/div>

Step 3: Connect to a wired or wireless network using the marked icon in the bottom right corner.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

Step 4<\/div>

Step 4: Open the VPN application using the marked icon in the bottom right corner.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

Step 5<\/div>

Step 5: Select the profile “Fraunhofer FIT” and click “Connect”. Enter your personal Smartcard PIN when prompted.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

Step 6<\/div>

You are now connected to the corporate VPN network.
\nStep 6: Select “Anderer Benutzer” in the bottom left corner.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

Step 7<\/div>

Step 7: Enter your username (Anmeldename) and password. Make sure to connect to “AD” or use “ad\\<username>” if in doubt.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

Step 8<\/div>

Congratulations, you are done.
